@imherelol They need like money like any rich person needs a tax break. Volunteers do basically everything to make wikipedia what it is. Web hosting is cheap even for high-traffic websites. The administration is getting bloated to justify asking for more money when there is no genuine need. The millions in donations are orders of magnitude higher than they need which is only teaching them to get greedy.
