@scneaux Thanks for the info. I second the thought on the energy! I can do many things now that I couldn't do before.

Thank you for the update! Congratulations to you. Your such a motivation to me. I'm 2 weeks out from my sleeve. SO I have a ways to go BUT I love your videos and the fact that you touch on ALL the aspects of adapting to your new way of life! Thanks again. Here's to a wonderful 2012!!!

Thanks for posting! I appreciate the information and found it helpful and motivating. I am curious to see how you manage in our Southern climes. Living near New Orleans means great food (mostly fried) and a LOT of rice!! ROFL I no longer eat rice or bread really but how are you finding navigating in this environment? When I make meals it is easy but going out is still a challenge. What is your typical week like with exercise and meals? Thanks!

@GRITSnMS I had to give up bread and rice for 3 years when I had the lap band....I absolutely hated it. I eat both now. I just can't eat a lot of it. My guidelines for my diet are not complicated, I eat what I like. I just eat small portions. As far as my exercise goes, I have to admit, not much to report...I'm way more active and have a lot more energy now that I"m less that 100 pounds!!!

I'm 8 mos. Out from sleeve and at a stand still with my weight. Still need about 25 lbs. To go. I'm hungry all the time, can eat more, and have been slacking on protein and eating too many carbs. Any tips or advice on how after the 6 mo. Post op honeymoon you stayed on track and got the last bit of weight off?

@blondeelockzz You have to make sure you are eating ENOUGH. Your body will go into starvation mode if you don't. High protien....even (gasp) shakes if you find one you like. I consistantly lost, but noticed that when I was hungry I ate...even if every few hours...you should always have snacks handy :) String cheese, beef Jerkey are some of my fav's
