What Is Photo Noir?

I have taken photographs of neon signs for the past twenty five years. On the MindsiMedia YouTube channel there is a large playlist of neon videos. At my web site mindsimedia.info there there is a gallery full of them. As an offshoot of this "hobby" I have also taken other dark photos with flashes of bright colors which I refer to as Photo Noir. This slideshow is an introduction to my Photo Noir gallery also found at mindsimedia.info.
