  • What's the name of the song in the video???

  • @tuqbanitakreyzitali7 It's "Libertad" = Freedom :)

  • "SUPER"

  • Thanks Stanislaw :)

  • Asturias is very beautiful with its mountains like the Picos de Europa and fabulous beaches. A fantastic combination, more than a match for many famous European tourist areas, it should be much better known. Soy Gales. Yes, the Welsh originated from N.Spain- Galicia, Asturias- and N.Portugal. All wonderful areas. And Asturias even has parts like Snowdonia in North Wales, with slate roofed buildings, and coal mining valleys too. I've stayed there twice, expect to return soon!

  • Much agreed! It's a wonderful place...

  • Abysmal video. Asturias is not Spain, thank you.

  • @mmedefargepercen around iberia(spain and portugal) is around 55 - 70% in ireland & british isles is 70-80% in france around 50% etc..

  • @mmedefarge look at the percentages and youll see what i mean percentages in central asia and north africa are wasy less than 12% but that 12% explains why somw north africans and central asians look similar to europeans

  • @kurozaki45 it's also found in Central Asia & in Africa so it can be found in a number of places.

  • @mmedefarge cwhy do you think r1b is mosttly found in spain + ireland + british isles + france? the celtics spread out into all of those places and left their legacy

  • "Celtic Ireland and Britain is deeply rooted in Spain."

There is now DNA evidence indicating the relationship between the Celt-Iberians and in particular, Irish people. The Haplogroup R1b (M343) is found in 90+ percent concentration in North Central Spain and Ireland.

This massive project i believe is still being conducted by National Geographic The Wait Family Foundation and others.

My brother took part in this study. Our family is from Galicia and Asturias. We were there for centuries.

  • When Iberia was conquered by the Romans it was already a land made up of many different people from all parts of Europe and the Mediterranean. Among them were a people called the celtiberians as they were known to the Romans. Their origins were unknown and they did not what to assimilate with the Romans. They were eventually subdued and absorbed into the mighty Roman empire. It is possible the celtiberians travelled outside of Iberia and the link between Iberia and Wales is very real.

  • @Thrashgu: yes i hope to return to Asturias this summer.
