I also do the parallel eyes, for the same reason. When I first came across them in the late 80s, that was the way to do it, though the parallel eye is more difficult to do than the cross eyes.

@Tomaz4l I used to only know cross-eyed but after I moved to parallel (because the majority of stereograms I looked at I saw inverted) I don't think I can revert back to cross-eyed
