Someone tell me what this video is supposed to mean. I understand the videos for all their other songs, Little Girls, Private Life, Nothing Bad, Insanity. But this one confuses me.

It's not really supposed to mean anything, it's just a hodgepodge of ideas mixed into one video. If there is any meaning to it I think it would have to be something involving poking fun at everyday life and myths, but I really just think it was for fun. :)

I'll give it a shot. In my opinion it means somebody who is about to commit suicide and needs help.

I'm probably wrong, and just listening to it without the video I'd probably get a different idea, but to me it kinda looks like a guy who made a deal with the devil for power and fame, but then it all fell apart in the end and he got executed

I would say its sort of pointing out how people think highly of themselves and expect you to be grateful for any small act of kindness you get from them
