A ground wire would be better than nothing - 3/4 of the way up the SWR meter is not a good sign.
I'd suggest mounting in a different location - plenty of places on a truck that would give you a good ground. Hope the info helps for the CB part - the rollbar itself is pretty dang cool man!

can't i just run a ground wire to it? and my swr meter is only going like 3/4 the way up...?
