This is from a Christmas concert some years ago, where the band played Buglers Holiday as part of the program. The three trumpet players are Dave Curry, Carroll Potts, and Greg Martin.

  • @musicX89 Its really not that hard to memorize a piece when you play it alot.

  • @DJRickinson in* and played* other then that your ego was the biggest issue in that comment

  • 3 people can't triple tongue.

  • My band is currently playing i school. It sounds pretty o.k... at 1/3 the speed. lol. My band teacher wouldn't let me play the cornet parts, but I can play it better than them. Special conditions actually, but this is the best I have ever heard it play.

  • why are people so surprized that they memorized this Im 15 and I already memorized the first mvt of both the Haydn and Hummel concertos and I memorized the Arban Carnival of Venice its not that difficult to memorize its just difficult to unmemorize something that ou played wrong for the longest time and moemorize it correctly the next time.

  • @rainbowdragucorn Try triple-tounging, my friend.

  • I am from the coppell middle school north honor winds and we are playing this at tmea, all from memory. Btw im only 13

  • This is the single best performance of this song I've ever heard! From the tempo, to the intonation, and the balance, and the stylistic elements; they played it beautifully! They need to come to Louisville!!!

  • My dad just found the music for this piece at the library! I'm super excited to play it!!!

  • I played the first trumpet part in high school! Had to memorize it, too!
