Too low? You mean too high.

I think they are flying a "way to wide & long" pattern, IMHO. Turning final, he "drags" it in; and, oddly enough, then appears high, at the numbers! Needs to concentrate a little bit on hitting his "target", before round out and flare. Why not be in relatively close to the runway, and work from there? Hope these criticisms are taken. in the good faith which they are offered. Nice video. Thanks, N-6395T

@manifestgtr "I play flight simulator way too much and I know everything about aviation" ROFL.... and i stayed at a holiday inn express last night.
me thinks you need some real seat time.... where the cost of an error is more than a crack across the screen of your monitor...

flying is not for everyone.. even the ones that never get it, at least tried.... The wisdom is knowing you lack the "knack".. The most fun I had was getting my license.. Is still easier than driving a big truck IMHO....

@210482fmj I think the Cessna company actually designed a airplane parachute. If the aircraft lost control or was unable to fly, the pilot would pull a leaver and a parachute would deploy which would bring you down safely. This was not vrey popular. The avaiation rules are strict on medical checks, this is the measure used as standard to prevent pilot medical emergency inflight. But we all know that some things happen out of the blue.

@contemporarymonk IT should really be introduced for the future as times will change. THere was a person flying once and he suddenly lost his eyesight poor person and had to be guided down. THere needs to be an emergency land feature.

@210482fmj To fly an autoland the aircraft needs specific equipment. This 1. Costs in the base cost of the airplane 2. Costs in training as you need to have instructions on how to use the feature. Furthermore when you qualifiy as a Private Pilot (PPL) you are not rated (certified) to fly in bad weather conditions (IFR) or at night. You must have further training to be able to fly in these situations. Most aircraft are equiped with IFR instruments for bad weather and ILS approaches.
@manifestgtr leave the flying to real pilots,i could put you in my pitts and have you screaming like a little bitch in no time
