Adam "Soul Horse" Song and Bertin "El Roble" Bueno demo a basic Granby roll to guard recovery for BJJ and MMA, follwed by the counter attack for your opponent's defense.
To make the Granby roll MOST effective, make sure to lift your leg AS FAR OVER YOUR HEAD AS POSSIBLE, so your opponent doesn't come under your hips and come to side control. A little flexibility goes a long way in this drill.
Train hard!
Adam Song is the head coach at Ring Lords Vale Tudo, the hardest training mma club in NC, privately training amateur and professional mma fighters 18 yrs. of age and up, in Cary, NC.
@chino8it Cool, brother, I'm glad to see it translates well to both arts. Wrestling, BJJ, Judo, it's all good...control your opponent, improve your position, and finish. Check out our other vids when you can! -Soul Horse
