  • Sick video bro.

Props to the dude with the broken fingers, he deserves a reward, other than the huge hospital bill he is going to have to pay :/

Hopefully next time they can get some paramedics and an ambulance to be stationed at the actual race so if something more serious happens we don't have to wait 40 minutes for them to show again.

  • @KrackdSkullzClermont thank you sir...im trying my best with the equipment i have...if i just had some money id have alot better shots

  • ahh piss i new i messed something up....maybe alot of longboarders cant spell and ill get away with it lol

  • That was a gnarly crash. Allways stay to the inside and put all your weight on the back truck.

  • @Eddyandthecruisers lol ya it was brutal...im glad i didnt race because that woulda been me lol...im workin hard to get better so ill race next time and hopefully it wont be me lol

In a major wipe-out like that, it is imperative to stabilize the victim. That means NOT removing his helmet,

Secondly, there should have been more hay bales there, and DEFINITELY no vehicle close by. (in the danger zone).

  • Need more haybayls or however u spell it.

  • I know that kid who broke his finger, skated with him today, also know shawn, great guy :D

  • great slide at 33 sec

  • Gotants that is probably the best advice. Too many spectators and vehicles by the turn. I hope the rider is OK. Lesson learned. Looked like an awesome event. One allways hopes that accidents do not happen, unfortunately when they do. Cool heads prevail.

  • ouch!

  • @Eddyandthecruisers sad thing is Aaron has done that run many times before...I am not sure why he didnt turn and just went straight like that...maybe he had wobbles and decided to bail without thinking he would catapult into the car? I dunno...but that was gnarly indeed!

  • you eliminate the drift. Zak Maytum did this at MaryHill. Using Pavel 21 inch wheelbase, GOG Slalom trucks and Centrax wheels. None. or very little drift, therefore going to the inside makes sense. why because a slalom board will hug the turn. a lomger wheel base does not give that option

  • @Eddyandthecruisers weight on the back truck? no... you turn with the front truck. back truck makes you get wobs or slide out. i was at the race, actually the guy right behind Aaron, the guy who crashed really bad in that heat.

and you don't always stay inside, it's Outside-Inside-Outside for a good line in a turn. hit the apex of the turn close to the inside but everything else outside.

  • @narex123 getting a new board would help you too, that trampoline and Durians don't help you much :P
