For those who are interested I just wanted to remind and give a short report on the first of the 5 part lecture series which has started this week. The series is free and is very interesting. I am trying to get back to basics and review our founding documents. It is easy to let your mind get muddied with the current politics so it is time for a refresher course!

You can still register for the course here; http://constitution.hillsdale.edu/

I am making the course notes and other documents available on google docs;

  • I agree with you 100% I've been looking at this stuff for the past 5-6 years now and makes me ill at how far we have gone off course. A very good series on youtube is Michael Badnarik's Constitution Class. Have you ever looked at the Original 13th Amendment and how it was removed, then there is the 16th amendment and how it was never legally ratified oh man the list is long and they've been at it a long time

  • @Dambo96 I will check out the class yo mentioned. I don't think we can learn enough about this subject. Thanks!

  • So far so good though ain this as the intro to the lecture series Dr. Arnn is really giving us the relationship between the Declaration and the Constitution. Your notes and additional reading really help add some meat to the bone.

  • @scooter17568 I think the whole series is called an "Introduction to the Constitution" I think it will get better alos as the weeks go by. Thanks!

  • Thanks for the heads up. Got to make time for this.

  • @TheBeeperman It is worth the time for sure! Thanks!
