It's pure stereotypical. I use high quality shampoo and conditioner on my hair everyday. I even use hair moisturizer once a week. My hair is always brushed and well groomed. (I don't mean to sound feminine, lol.) Yet, almost all employers refuse to hire me all because I am a man with long hair. People need to understand that a man's work ethic is not defined by the length of his hair. Thank you for your support.

when hiring i dont care about your hair i care about your skills and character. if a short haired man or woman is doing terrible then no if long hair instead still the answer is no i wont hire.

the long hair no hire is a myth made to convince men to cut their hair. the only place i can see reasonably for cutting hair is in the military where the hair can be grabbed by an enemy or machinery
