Eating more protein seems to be working for me. Try at your own risk...I'm broke and all I have are eggs...so THAT's what I HAVE to eat....but and going better than usual!!!!

    Interesting comment. I modified my last days of HCG also, I added the coconut oil and went easy on the apples (I stopped having bread a long time ago, b/c it messes up my blood sugar). And guess what, I lost more weight than before. Now I am on P3, but am doing this according to Atkins Induction (very little carb), which goes really good.

    Hmm, there seems to be a low-carb / weight loss connection somewhere, don't you agree?

  • I do think that there is a connection!!! The fact that I have been able to eat MORE protien....cutting out the carbs of all kinds etc....shows that something is definitely up with that!!! Dr. Simeons developed his Protocol BEFORE we knew about no carbs etc and Atkins....also he was trying to keep things nutritionally balanced as much as he could. It is NOT balanced nutritionally to eat just protiens etc...but short term seems to be good!!! Whatever works...huh!!!!

  • Oddly enough in my dr. appointment today where I weigh in and she reviews my food log she suggested adding 100 more calories of protien...specifically eggs. She said sometimes undereating can cause stalls and an increase in protien calories will help you break through.

  • WOW!!!! Thanks for this positive affirmation that we're onto something here...purely by circumstances....this really matches up to what has been happening!!! HOORAY!!!! My niece also started adding more eggs and she has found that if she's over the 500 calorie with protein...she's still ok with here losses!!!

  • Wow Charlie, this is the VLOG where I can tell the most difference in your appearance. Your neck and arms looks super slim. Congrats. I am going to try more eggs.

Today is first day on P3...but Transitioning with the 500 calorie part until Friday Evening....and THEN....Fish Tacos with the BEST homemede Sour Cream and Tapatila Hot Sauce dressing....course I will eat mine without the Tortillas.....LOL...the fish is Marinated Mahi Mahi from Trader Joes....incredible!!!!

  • awesome i ran across you, I was thinking about doing a protein day vs an apple day, b/c i'm noticing my results spike after more protein.

    I happen to KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT that my body responds to protein more than carbs. So I have cut out the apple, didn't even bother with the grissini etc. I am doing great!! How many eggs are you eating? and when? Is this on P2 or P3? I have learner TONS from ya girl! Also...moisturizer...help!!

  • Ive been looking for you to post again for weeks, hope to see you soon. I have been doing atkins from the beginning mostly due to the fact that Im not hungry and cant stand the green stuff. I eat all I want- which is not much, including fatty foods. Ive lost 15 lbs in 15 days. When I attempted the 500 cal. with carbs I found I still didnt get 20 carbs a day, which is essentially atkins anyway, just hcg supercharged! wondering how ur doing with this 'new' development, Missing you!

I am getting ready to do R1P2 in about a week and my $ situation sounds like yours and so this info is great! Thank you for sharin ... I understand you are just tellin us what is wking for you and that is only your results but you look great girl!

  • Hi, me again, on the last comment I meant I stopped P2 at 30 days to go to P3, to include more items we had stored that are allowed on P3. I will start R3 again Sept 21 if I can financially. I lost 20 lbs and 14.5 inches on this round. This is a great protocol. Thanks again hcgcharlie, you are so cool!

  • I'm rooting for you hcgcharlie. You and mama clock have helped soooo much! We are having financial difficulties as well and I went to eggs and egg whites and low fat cottage cheese as my P2 proteins, it worked. I decided to stop P2 at 30 days so I could include some strored Items we have that are ok for P2. Thankfully my husband insists we have 6 months of food stored for lean times.
