At Soccer Shots, we believe that soccer, the world's greatest game, can be introduced in creative and exciting ways to children ages 3-8. Kids who play soccer are exposed to great fitness habits like running, character forming lessons such as teamwork and tons of fun.
The pull-back move is a clever skill used to turn and change direction quickly to keep the ball away from a defender. This is a very easy skill to learn.
This move starts by quickly stopping the soccer ball with the bottom of your foot. We call this position "control" and we teach younger children to use "airplane wings" to gain balance when in this position. Then, using the bottom of your foot, roll the soccer ball behind you, turn, and quickly dribble in the opposite direction.
Super cute!
