  • Hey, where's Mick Ronson everybody? He co-produced the album, played some really great geetar!!!

  • @rocktenniscat

By the time the documentary was made, mick ronson had already died, so I guess they didn't have older footage of him talking about the album. Still this is only a part of the documentary, edited.

  • Where is this clip taken from~I know it's the 50th Birthday in New York~I guess, my question is where is the rest? Thank you again for a wonderful post!!

  • Thank you! It's from the Lou Reed documentary, "rock n roll heart"

  • who is the 1st at 00:24 ??

  • I love Bowie & Reed. But honestly, David knew how to sell albums well and god bless him. But most don't realize how much Lou also contributed to rock 'n roll. What can I say.. despite.. all.. the.. comp.. u.. ta.. tion. I could just listen to that rock 'n roll station, and baby it was all right. Peace, Love & Respect to Lou & David. They saw rock 'n roll as high art, and that's what touches peoples soul.

  • Not many look better than David at 50! Just as handsome as in his youth.

  • @rocktenniscat dead

  • Still the sexiest men ever created. *heavy sigh*

  • Bowie's modesty just impacts me. I think he's a way better musician than Reed, but i love both of them. True inspirations.

  • Ohhhh So Goood

  • herbie flowers made that song...It was hanging around, he put the bass loop into it...a hit...go figure??

  • @redsails2008 - Actually, there is some great footage of Mick talking about Lou/Transformer (it's really funny, 'cause Lou never cared about guitars in tune, and Mick was SO musical) Anyway, probably it was copyright stuff (it was part of MTV "Classic Albums" doc). But honest to God, Mick was SO ill during the interviews, he looked like a skeleton. Rest in Peace, Angel with the Platinum Hair

  • David Bowie is a transformer.

  • 0:27 is an amazing picture, three of the all time greats of rock and roll together!

  • TRANSFORMERSSSSSS
