  • A bit noodely for my tastes.

  • Mr. Holdsworth, to me, was at his finest with Bill Bruford, Dave Stewart, Jeff Berlin. His guitar tone on UK's first release I felt had reached that "other worldly" state hard to pin down. It had a rounded, full-stereo split character with basic Marshall JCM's, rack-mounted digital effects and his Boogie Body custom Blonde Strat. All band members were his equals, and all were able to "shine". However it seems Allan has, despite adding two-octave chordal legato jaw dropping runs, he's hit a wall.

  • My favorite disco track for 2012.

  • Anyway, he's the world's best guitar-playing beer-brewer. I bet.

  • Saw Terry Bozzio in concert with Zappa..................outrageous drummer!

  • Actually, would love to hear Bozzio and Levin play some old Holdsworth and UK toons. Jams can be tiresome.

  • There are levels. Most 'music' is on a level. Our music is not on that level. It is above it. It is on a different level. Allan is on our other level. The above level where Elvin Jones site with Frank Zappa and Igor Stravinsky. Praise and give thanks to the level. Parallel lines never meet. Respect and give thanks to the level. We, on the upper, higher level, must ignore the lower level, because viewing it would make us sad, and commenting would only make us look superior. Thank you upper level.
