I was sickened when I found out she'd been taken out by Al Qaeda scum. This is why we needed and always need President Mushariff. He's strong and our foolish administration wants democracy in Pakistan that's clearly not what Pakistan needs. It won't help them or us.

You spoke from the heart. Her son also gave a very impressive speech this week "My mother always said democracy is the best revenge" if i'm not mistaken. The guy is only 19 but I'm sure we will be hearing a lot about him in the future.

It is a Muslim country, is next door to Afghanistan and Iran and is the bridge between South Asia and the Middle East.
What happens in Pakistan is closely tied with Middle East events and vice versa.
So the Middle East problems are Pakistani problems.

It is a horrible thing that has happened, it truly is. Well spoken and well said my friend, it is hard to imagine the hatred involved in this senseless act that has robbed her of her life. May she rest in a peace that she was unable to know or find in this world.

Her ideals live loudly in the voices of her people. If we can no longer have her to lead at least we have what she left behind. We should honor her for what she stood against despite the danger. There are few like her in this world. Few who would stand up against true evil right in its face.
