ABOUT THIS GAME

The key to Rhythm Party is a total freedom of movement in front of the Kinect motion sensor peripheral. The new game offers 'open format'dancing so, unlike other music and dancing games, does not rely on contrived choreography. Instead, as the player's silhouette is shown on screen, players can move to the beat and groove freely to create their own performance. These dances are rated as they coincide with performance 'ripples' on screen, with points and bonuses awarded that bolster the player's score.

Rhythm Party, an all-new dance title for Xbox 360, will be available on February 1st via Xbox LIVE Arcade, priced 800 MS Points.

In Rhythm Party genießen die Spieler dank des Bewegungssensors völlige Bewegungsfreiheit. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Musik- und Tanzspielen bietet der neue Titel „offenes Tanzen", was nichts anderes bedeutet, als dass die Spieler keinerlei Beschränkungen oder Vorgaben hinsichtlich ihrer Choreografie unterworfen sind. Die Spieler sehen ihre Silhouette auf dem Bildschirm, bewegen sich frei im Rhythmus der Musik und entwickeln ihre ganz eigene, individuelle Performance.

Der Tanz wird bewertet, indem die Übereinstimmung der Bewegungen mit den diversen Markierungen auf dem Bildschirm gemessen wird. Je akkurater die Bewegungen, desto mehr Punkte und Boni gibt es. Stimmt die Performance, erwartet die Spieler eine Welt voller lebendiger Farben und ausgefallen gestalteter Hintergründe: Disco- und Karnevalsszenen beleben und ergänzen beispielsweise die Tänze.

Rhythm Party bietet eine Reihe von Party Klassikern, die von einigen der größten Künstler unserer Zeit dargeboten werden, sowie Variationen von Songs, die exklusiv für das Spiel entwickelt wurden.
