Raycrisis / Original Mode (PSX ver) 1/2 'Non Sentimentalism'

Here is some game play from Taito's Playstation port of Raycrisis.

I like this game a lot but it made me sad that they had to exclude the 2 player support. I guess it was really taxing the PSX hardware.

There is also a score attack mode in the game to make up for this omission. It is lots of fun and features remixed music and some altered level designs/patterns.

That brings me to another point, the way the music is handled in this game is interesting. Depending on which stage you select to take on as your first stage, will determine the 'theme song' for the majority of the game. So I will make a couple more videos so you can hear the different tunes.

I always though that 'Vit-Symty' was the only song on the soundtrack that fit with the atmosphere in-game. =\

Yeah. The tunes in this game are cool, but like you said, they don't really mesh well with the game. This is the weakest soundtrack of the Ray-series in my opinion.

Just picked up the Japanese version of Raycrisis off ebay for cheap (includes spinecard), the US version seems expensive, so does the Japanese version. Guess I got lucky once again.

ugh i need to get this game out of storage so I can play it again. Also what is the computer saying when the stage and mode select start, because my friends and I always joked that she says "ghetto, my master" lol
