A smooth ball handler with a feel for changing gears, Teague is the type of point guard who gets the ball to whatever spot on the court he desires. When he gets in the lane, he is explosive in traffic and is a proficient finisher with either hand. While he is a big time scoring threat, Teague is also a high level distributor.
Teague, who dropped 30 in an overtime win against the always-talented Boo Williams team in the quarterfinals, found a way to help his team advance and keep playing for the championship. The Kentucky-bound point guard is perfect for the dribble-drive offense. He puts tremendous pressure on the defense, is relentless when attacking the basket in transition and lives at the free throw line (he got there 35 times on Wednesday).
