US Navy & French railroad guns being transported and fired in France during WW1. The US Navy constructed a number of 14" rail mounted guns to help the allied war effort. Their effective range was around 30 miles.

Once of the crew is either African or of African descent; he's the fellow on the right at 1:38 wearing the Adrian helmet and dark tunic. Not surprising really given the French Army during the Great War was much more tolerant of soldiers of color serving alongside European Frenchmen unlike our own US Army. Excellent video clip, thanks for posting this!

I prefer the old fashion (honest) way of getting subscribers & views. I certainly have no intention of 'marketing' my page via unsolicited spamming of accounts.
