@somegreybloke Dear Graham Murkett, I am sorry to inform you that you are not a real person your just a clever cartoon put together and animated from the confines of some human beings mind simply to amuse those that are looking for sophisticated humor. And in the words of a fictional character i.e. you "Cheers."

Jesus was born some time in late June. The only reason people celebrate December 25th is because Christianity is a direct brain child of Sun Worshipers and December 25th was the day that they were usually able to tell that the days were getting longer again. It was what they called the sun's re birth.

@somegreybloke donating is a lot easier than actually going and helping the people directly i suppose.
Keep telling yourself you're decent if paying out makes you feel better because imo you are a mug for giving to a 'charity' that pays it's staff far too much
i just got this job come through to me via email
"IS Solution Development Manager (Oxfam GB) £33,700 - £39,624 pa (plus market supplement up to £12,376) | Oxford"
nearly £53,000 a year ? WTF
You can only imagine what the Directors get. This is WRONG. This is supposed to be a CHARITY ffs
Pretty obvious money collected for these causes goes into the pockets of the fat cats and squandered on people whos ethos of charity work means lining their own pockets
make a donation ? WHY ?

And yet according to Intelligent Giving, and the Charities Commission, they spend less than 1.5 million pounds a year on running costs and over 200 million a year on aid projects. I'd call that a pretty good ratio.
& that's why I donate. You're free not to.
