i have one in my left eye, ever since i can remember.. it never really bothered me, until i found out it was indeed a medical condition. then i was totally annoyed by it but now i just dont care again.. its my companion.. :P

I'm 14 and I have cataracts... I was told that my cataracts causes floaters, but I can't figure out how that would be possible since the lens is in the front of the eyes. I have REALLY bad floaters. And recently I've started to get little tiny sparks that come and go. Is this retinal detatchment?? I'm a hypochondriac. Is it common for a teen to get RD?
