Hilton Head Island is a great place to relax...if you visit in the off seasons! (Traffic can be a problem.)

This video contains pictures of Hilton Head, including Palmetto Dunes and the picturesque Harbour Town, plus Savannah, GA and Beaufort, SC.

  • Yea..we're in the beginning stages of planning our family/friends vacation in Hilton Head Isl SC. Wanna play a couple rounds of golf there too,but the beach and Savannah will be the main focus; What chorses do ya recommend...Robert T Jones seems to look really nice.....advice?

  • @Wayneman117 It's been a while since we've been there so I can't really say which courses to recommend. We always had good experiences with the courses in Palmetto Dunes. Hilton Head National is also nice. Sea PinesHarbor Town are nice but very very pricey.

  • How are the waves down there? Good enough to boogie board or surf?

  • @NickSkate7 I have to admit that when I was there I saw no surfer or boogie boarders, but then again the ocean was relatively calm each time I was there. I would imagine that there are days where it is possible.

  • Would this place still be nice during the winter? i am going for christmas and i dont know about eastern weather since i live in texas.

  • @cohamilton99 The weather is probably in the 50 to 60 degree range around Christmas. A little on the cool side but still pleasant.

  • @LTPDfilms We have miles and miles of bike paths here!

  • @DCOME94 I sell real estate on Hilton Head Island. Its a great place to live and work!

  • @NickSkate7 Not really. Our shores our pretty shallow so the waves die off by the time they reach the shore. Try Burke's Beach on Hilton Head (in between Folly Field Beach and Palmetto Dunes Beach).

  • @Wayneman117 Trent Jones in Palmetto Dunes is my first choice. I live on the Island and play Trent Jones often. Shipyard is reasonably priced and enjoyable to play. Harbour Town is the cream of the crop but expensive. Well worth the experience though. Try the Country Club of Hilton Head also. Good luck...contact me if you need more local recommendations.

  • @chrisazimmer at the part near folly field road you can boggie board. no surfing thoogh.
