This miniature replica guitar amplifier has several rock guitar demo tracks to play, but also can be used as a real amplifier, with input and output jacks and a small built-in speaker. And even if you don't play guitar, it makes a funny looking but suitable replacement for the mini battery powered amplifier that Radio Shack used to sell.

  • You can see that the speaker has a foam surround, at least not FOLDED PAPER! lol

  • I've just been watching a few videos of that Air Guitar Rocker on YouTube, the socket under the power switch is for the belt buckle with the pick.

  • I've just been looking on eBay, someone may be able to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that speakerbox is part of the Air Guitar Rocker kit that has a pick and a belt buckle that apparently senses the movement of the pick and it generates sounds based on the movement of the pick, I may have that wrong, so if someone can correct me I'd be really happy, I wouldn't mind getting one of these things, I think it's really cool.

  • Guitar level? Through your camera, it looks like an 1/8th inch jack instead of a quarter inch. I've always found these tiny amps to be fun little toys, even if they don't sound all that good. I have a Smokey amp (plastic, not a cigarette cart one) and it's smaller than an iPhone, but gives a passable sound for some slide guitar, and doubles as a fuzz.

  • Im surprised that it has a decently built speaker, you can plainly see it has a foam surround, lol watch this become a collectors item in twenty years,

  • Pretty cute. I'd like to hear what it sounds like with an input source.

  • @vwestlife not for me =/

  • cool!

  • @vwestlife Someone really ought to develop a Li-ion battery powered speaker. Unless such a thing exists already? Posibbly with a conventional driver (I guess 2" would be the max for it to truly be portable) and a piezo tweeter at some apropriate crossover.

  • @Vinylrecordsneverdie

And when I do it's coming home with me and gonna meet my iPod and PSP. I may also record the guitar riffs off this thing if it has an audio out which I think it does and play around with them in goldwave.
