  • and thats how we beat the nazis bastards

  • My compliments to the producers and directors of "Memphis Belle". I have watched this video of the "The Landing" a dozen times. Emotionally stirring is the only way I can describe this scene. It is such an excellent blend of believable sights and sounds, and wonderful sound track by George Fenton. What a great tribute to the brave men in the air and on the ground, and to the reliability of the B-17 itself. I have never seen a more moving final scene in any movie that I have viewed.

  • one of the best cinematic moments in films ever

  • Saw red tails and it didn't have the same damned amazing feeling as the Belle

  • This was one of the most epic endings I've ever watched...like you knew their fate if the wheel didn't come down EVERYONE knew their fate...but there was some small chance of hope and the Memphis Belle overcame their odds by flying their 25th and final mission some few had the opportunity to do...God bless the men who sacrificed!

  • I love this scene. Real heroes back then and today.

  • love this film and the song that goes with the last land :D

  • Purtroppo non so l'inglese, spero voi capiate l'italiano. Non Italiani non dimenticheremo mai il grande coraggio degli eroici equipaggi dei bombardieri americani. Che con il loro sacrificio ci hanno aiutato a liberarci dall'oppressione dei nazisti. Thank you !

  • thanks for comment matt got to meet capt morgan about three months before he died signed a belle b 17 hat for me.....

  • @neweast1 I watched this movie 9 times, my dad was stationed in England for a time near the airbase the Belle was stationed at.

  • Wow I hope that was a model they wrecked and bounced on landing. I don't know anyone who would do that to a restored B-17 for a movie.
