You can't help but sing along, or at least I can't!

This has become one of my favorite songs of all. From my take of it, it's about wondering if you should be more than friends. What Pete does is take that one moment of pondering and expands it into a beautiful, sensual song. Very artistic, taking us through [his] journey of thought. And at the end, "Gone is the moment." I love how he's telling a story, and how the syntax of the verses parallel with each other. Like I said before, VERY artistic. Last but not least, his voice is truly a gift.

I hope this song inspires you (in any way) as it has me. I tried to blend in as best as possible, but pardon the incorrect harmony. :D
