i wasplaying in a Team UK roller hockey game. On the forecheck, the defender flung a hail mary out of the zone. Puck in the eye! bounced off my eye socket into the net. GOAL!!! So, i get to rouin my brand new GB jersey! And get a fractured eye socket.

I saw that hit, It was a headshot, a clear headshot, if you watch it from an angle Boychuks elbow went up and got Stajan in the head.

looked like a good hit to me stajan just needs to keep his head up lol. It was just a good hard hit, and i dont blame the leafs for starting what jack edwards called a "brawl" because you always stand up for your teammates

Actually I was surprised Kaberle made that pass. He hasa better hockey sense than that. Maybe Stajan didn't invite kaberle to his birthday party? And Kaberle was just feeling a little passive aggressive.

Hahahaha...you fool...there was no comparison. Cormier's "elbow", which barely connected btw, was away from the play...the Stajan hit wasn't an elbow at all...Stajan was down low when Boychuk hit him CLEANLY...all shoulder - get over it...there is still hitting in hockey.

I am a Leafs fan. Boychuck did not. DID NOT raise his elbow or leave his feet. Watch it again. elbow was tucked into his ribcage and it was a shoulder. All be it, to the head.

He did not 'jump' but came off his skates because he fell over after hitting stajan. Completely legal hit.

Every Leaf fan who thought that hit was dirty, give your head a shake. Watch the replay in slo mo and ask yourself a couple questions. Did he leave his feet? Nope. Did he use his elbow? Nope. So how then, is it dirty?

If anyone should get punished, its Kaberle. Suicide passes should not be called suicide passes as the person who gets crushed does not wish that upon himself. They should be called murder passes.

Well Steve, do you think that the Patrice Cormier hit on Anton Rodin was clean? Because there's not much of a difference between that and the Boychuk elbow to the head.

hilarious! I'm a Bruins fan and my unbiased opinion is Boychuk's hit was clean. #1 Heads Up! he was looking straight down, Boychuk didn't leave his feat (until impact obviously) and laid him out.

THere should be a replay of that hit with a message box or a "thought box" coming from Stajan's head and people could fill in "What must have been going through Matt's head when he got hit by Boychuk?"
