@paulchavez1000 Usually the one on the left is a higher pitched very staccato piccolo drum. Listen to the differences in the snare sound at 2:47 vs the snare at 3:04 . Some drummers do the reverse and use the piccolo snare as their main in front of them and their lower pitched punchy snare on the left of the high-hat.
