The Ming Short Film Festival 2007 winner Corey Lee talks about his experience with the festival and gives some advice to future filmmakers.
"In late 2005, Lee began working on a trilogy of short films to be produced through CTVglobemedia's Bravo!FACT program. The Kilter Trilogy connects three short films adapted from the 2003 Giller Prize nominated collection, Kilter: 55 fictions, by Canadian author, John Gould. The first film in the trilogy, The Perfection of the Moment, has won several awards, including the 2006 Alberta Film & Television Award for Best Short Film, the Reel Canadian Indie Award from the 2007 Canadian Filmmakers Festival in Toronto and the Grand Prize at the 2007 MING Short Film Festival. The film has screened at a number of highly regarded Canadian festivals including: Edmonton, Whistler and the 2007 edition of the touring Prairie Tales. It was invited to the Short Film Corner at the 2007 Festival de Cannes and recently chosen for the inaugural Moving Stories Film Tour." - taken from enriquePoe Moving Pictures (www.http://www.enriquepoe.com)
