  • NBC, then and now, does so much better of the kind of sports coverage that appeals to the highest common denominator, not the overhype of ESPN, the drollness of CBS and the over-bells-and-whistles of FOX.

  • That home run and theme song never gets old, this was definitely the golden age of professional sports in general.

  • Shenae Grimes was born 14 years after this World Series broadcast on NBC.

  • @Jean0987654321 okay,

  • @kimv020887 Not gonna happen

  • @kimv020887 meh, seems too tied up with the Braves and SEC Basketball/FSN

  • @Jean0987654321 okay what about Chip Caray, son of Skip Caray (R.I.P.)?

  • @kimv020887 Al Albert can't call a game to save his life and he's only good at bball and boxing NO WAY for baseball

  • @Jean0987654321 okay. Marv is now with CBS doing NFL games and TNT doing NBA games while Dick Enberg is now the San Diego Padres' voice. How about Marv's brother Al Albert doing play-by-play and Bryant Gumbel doing the pregame?

  • @m1sterhockey I agree, but what about the 1992-1993 that CBS used for their NFL broadcasts? they should also bring it back.
