I'd have thought that a band as skilled as Sacramentum could do better than this. Then again, almost every Bathory cover I've heard is about as bad, even when they're done by otherwise-brilliant bands. What is about Bathory songs that makes them so difficult to cover?

i think, most bathory-covers are so "bad", because the bands more take care of recording quality and technique, so they forget to feel these great songs and the athmosphere gets lost...a god cover for example is armageddon played by damnation..much better than the version from the abyss

Sacramentum didn't do justice for this song!! I think it sounds a little faster than the original. My favorite song from Bathory sucky cover!
