Jesus was in the tomb on friday night, at sundown, all day saturday, and rose after the sun went down, which is really the next day, Sunday.Thats "3 days" But Jesus rested 24 hours.The Bible talks about death as a sleep. I think youre misinterpreting there. Only Jesus' physical body was in the tomb. And isnt the Sabbath to do with God resting on the 7th day.

Someone else must know if this guy is right, throwing in a period there where there isnt one in the bible. I mean why would you know that the meaning was something else unless someone tried to convince you of that and you believed them, with no evidence. Jesus was dead. He rose 3 days later. Your implying he was asleep.

@outofslumber Like i said. Jesus and the thief did not go to Paradise or Heaven that day. Jesus rested in the tomb for 24 hours. The Sabbath. He rested on the Sabbath, like the 10 Commandments says. Then early sunday morning Jesus rises. The problem is the peroid in the text. Should read: " I say to you today— you will be with me in Paradise." Translators or the typesetters got it wrong. A little period in the wrong place can change the understanding & meaning of the whole statement.

If you believe in the Bible then your espousing false teaching here. Personally Im not religious, but the passage is well known when Jesus says to the criminal on this day you will be with me in heaven. Please someone correct me if this is not what is said. I cant quote because I dont have a bible.

The sad thing isnt that this phoney exists. Itst hat people give him money and cant see right through him. Man Americans have really poor judgement. I reckon you could be a millionaire within a month in America (of course Im exaggerating, it might only be a week or 2 days) just by exploiting all the gullible people.
