It just hit me that neither android 17 or 18 can sense energy,because when Future Gohan punched 17 he was caught by suprise. Also when they were riding with 16 he was the only 1 that could tell where Piccolo & Cell when. In fact 16 was trying warn both 17 & 18 to stay away from Cell. 17 foolishly wouldn't listen & got himself absorbed. At least 18 had some sense afterwards despite still being absorbed.
