the only reason I like the volt over the leaf is its made in the U.S. But now the focus is here . Plus its full Ev and cheaper then the volt. Sorry Gm.
Cheap shot at the Nissan Leaf Ford marketers. I can test drive a Leaf, I can't however test drive vague references to butterflies and carbon-hysterical folks who "get it".
Regardless of the partnership with Best Buy, please know that you should use a licensed electrical contrator to install your charging station. This way you are guaranteed a quaility and reliable installation. Also, by using an IBEW/NECA contractor, you will have the assurance of a +5 warranty. This means, you will have the standard 1 year warranty, plus another 5 years added to that! Please use electricity responsibly!
As the Sustainability Coordinator for LOGIC, a small committee of some amazing people shaping education in Manteca Unified School District, I am pleased to see Mr. Begley in support of Ford. Big Valley Ford has been a huge supporter of Planet Party Day (informing over 2,000 6th grade students) in our District. Just recently, Mr. Begley was in our school district supporting the launch of Education and the Environment Curriculum! Clearly, the partnership of Ford and Ed Begley, Jr. Is more than ju
@1vdn992 My truck has a cruising equipment E-Meter which I like very much. It keeps track of the current state of charge of the pack in amp-hours and watt-hours. Using Peukert's coefficients it can estimate how many minutes the pack will last based on the previous (user selectable) time period. Might be a bit technical for the average non-nerd user, but it shouldn't be too hard to emulate a gas gauge giving the driver a relative distance still available. Just my personal preference...
