Awesome and inspiring as always guys! May I ask for one thing? Rick has said that for his legato, he uses a hammer-on right after a pull-off, making the phrases more articulate and crisp. Do you use the same thing Tom (your legato is immaculate) and would it be possible for either of you to demo it closely? I think I'm getting it, but a visual aid always helps. Could you also recommend ways of practicing that?

This made me realize that rhythm really matters a lot. I mean Rick is an totally awesome guitarist but Toms Rhythm and phrasing is hard to beat! Really blew me away.

From the moment you start playing at 3:06 Tom, I couldn't help but find myself smiling at that part (the entire part until Rick's next turn) because it doesn't sound like improvisation at all; it sounds like a well thought out solo! I was genuinely sporting the hugest cheesy smile at the start of that part. Great job as usual guys, keep it up.

Absolutely great listening...
Hey Tom! What factors made you go with maple for your neck? Is it bitier than the rosewood or ferro option? Tonally there's almost a Greg-Howish kind of bright clarity to your tone here which I love. Does it rock out with the big chords and some extra dirt too?

Hey Chris! There were a few things - one was certainly the tone - I'd never owned a guitar with a one piece maple neck and it certainly does have a crispness and clarity which I love compared to rosewood. The other was the visual aspect as I find it easier to visualise on the lighter maple neck than the darker rosewood or pau ferro, if that makes sense? Everything Suhr makes sounds amazing though! Hope you're good mate!

Rick, I must say I really like that one little tasty phrase at 0:50! I see Tom liked it too ;-)
It's all awesome of course but that one really caught my attention.
