@TheBloodPhoenix Yes, and despite the scare tactics of the right wing bigots, straight marriages in CA did not implode and the repeal of DADT hasn't destroyed the U.S. military.

I have yet to hear exactly how gay marriage destroys the "sanctity" of marriage for non-gays, but I guess homophobes will use any delusional excuse to discriminate again gays.

The right wing loves the constitution, except for that whole equal rights part. :-)

Good for T&S for being LGBT advocates.

Three years later, its amazing Prop 8 passed, and a relief that ultimately justice prevailed when it was over-turned. Tegan was completely right...in the future California will be remembered for taking this long overdue step.

Canada has had same-sex marriage since 2005!!! They were the 3rd in the world to legalize it after the Netherlands and Belgium. Gays have been allowed to serve in their military since 1992!!! Its time the "Land of the Free" gave equal freedom to all its citizens.
