Love Spirals Downwards · Noumena

Initially a part of the Los Angeles Gothic scene, Ryan Lum formed Love Spirals Downwards in late 1980s. The band became one of the first Ethereal outfits in the United States, very similar to the sound of the Cocteau Twins.

"Noumena" was published in 1992 on the German compilation "Hy! From Hypnotic to Hypersonic". The track was never released on a regular album or album reissue. An alternative version (called "Noumena of Spirit") is available on LSD's first full-length work "Idylls".
