Seemingly nonchalant with his guitar in hand, but far from it, he is a well-established persona in the music industry, his gigs make an
impressive list. His sound being so Ed that he can be heard on over 30 albums.
Ed Verhoeff is equally comfortable as a performer, a recording artist, a bandleader or a producer.
He has performed or recorded with the likes of: Hein van de Geyn, Paul Berner, John Abercrombie, Philip Catherine, Gerard Presencer, Rick Margitza, van Lins, Lincoln Goines, Alex Acuna, Andy Narell, Martin Verdonk, Karim Ziad, Izaline Calister, Lilian Vieiras (Zuco103), the Metropole Orchestra.
He has worked on theatre tours with: Mathilde Santing, Paul van Vliet, Ramses Shaffy, and Leonie Jansen. Ed performed in clubs and in festivals in Europe, Japan, India, Indonesia, The Baltic States, Suriname, the Dutch Caribbean, Mexico, the USA and more.
Momentarily Ed Verhoeff is the lead guitar player in the following groups belonging to:
Izaline Calister (EDISON 2009), The Paul Berner Band (with Peter Tiehuis and Hans van Oosterhout), Hein van de Geyns Baseline, Martin Verdonks VSOP. And now the time has come for Ed Verhoeff to release his 5th album. To put all experiences from his journey so farto put all this to music. On Slow Food Ed Verhoeff gives the listener a chance to glance at his feelingsand if you listen carefully the music fully opens up to you.
