Nobody sings this song like Frank: the god. Frank along with Dizzy Gillespie is my favorite artist in music. Let's trade in Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Eminem, Bieber, Adele, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, LMFAO, and Marron 5 all for the 2 gods; Frank and Dizzy.

I personally like when the rat pack did it best

My step-father used to sing this song a lot in the 70's and even sounded a lot like Frank Sinatra too. He also used to practice on the Phil Moore, "For Singer's Only Kit" inspiring my desire to do the same. I must have played that album a million times! My three favorites, "Birth of the Blues", "Mountain Greenery", and "September in the Rain". Thanks for posting the Frank Sinatra version Grandad35!

I love this version, but my all-time favorite is by Gordon MaCrae in "The Best Things in Life Are Free".

This is one heck of a recording.
OK, so its a great song to begin with, but Sinatra was born to sing this kind of music. The ability he has to hold on to a note with power and perfect control and then finish the phrase is simply sublime.
My favourite is the phrase "Thaaaaaaaaaat the southland ...."
Just fantastic. Makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck every time.

Personally I prefer Sammy Davis Jnr's version to this song, but this is still good, naturally.

I agree. This is Sinatra at his best. In amongst records that belonged to my dad, I found a perfect 78 recording of this masterpiece. Love it.
