I was confident of Adobe over Corel, in particular b/c of it's slow motion feature. However, the trial proved extremely resource hungry. Also, it doesn't have a much needed editing wheel like Corel. Thus, I'm continuing on with Ulead Movie Factory 5, SD editing software and HD Converter.
HD Converter Settings:
Format: .MP4
Size: 1920 x 1080 | 16:9
FPS: 30
Video Bitrate: 9000
Audio Bitrate: 448
Ulead Settings:
Save as type: MPEG4 files (*.mp4)
Save options:
MPEG files
24 bits, 720 x 480, 29.97 fps
(DVD-NTSC), 16:9
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 7200 kbps)
Audio data rate: 256 kbps
Dolby Digital Audio, 48 KHz, 2/0(L,R)
I dont know if this information is going to translate beyond the applications that I used. However, from what I gather, regardless of software brand, when you export or render the file, you want to export or render it in 16:9 aspect ratio, to include maximum audio and video settings to ensure that you get a widescreen video of the highest audio-visual quality.
This one came out exactly as I intended... widescreen with the highest video and audio quality that Ulead SD software can produce. So yeah, it isn't HD, but it looks great, which is a testament to the HF S100. Also, b/c it's SD, the upload was less than 45 mins, which is great when compared to a 6 hour HD upload for the same amount of capture.
Also, it just occurred to me that maybe I should shoot YouTube vids in 1440 x 1080 instead of 1920 x 1080. A lower camera setting should prove undetectable and should expedite editing, rendering and YouTube uploading standards.
Lol, at first I thought it was a techno remix but realized it was the rc cars.
