I have seen BOC many times through the years and the best was in Honolulu when they just returned from Japan. Buck said he missed big American Breasts and guess what happened ( Big Eyes)LOL.

Saw BOC in Denver last year at the Saddle Saloon. Seen them a handful of times in my lifetime and they just get better everytime...Awesome song...

For some inexplicable reason, BOC didnt gain the wide fame & recognition they deserved. Maybe cos they werent commercial enough for wider audiences.

Having grown up with BOC two reasons for their lack of fame. 1st the word cult in their name lead to satanism also there relations with bikers was detrimental.

you mean audiences associated the word cult in their name with satanism? that sort of thing with satanism & bikers would've pulled many fans in the mid 80's.

Not as strong as they deserved. Always under-rated. Plus their symbol, the sign of confusion, was also wrongly associated with satanism.

It's a shame, cos if you look at slayer's album covers that started in 86, & the songs they sang, they gained fame & wide coverage that BOC never enjoyed, but by then things had shifted. I think maybe their management didn't try hard to turn things around. Their music is still great to listen to though. :)
