This here is a house cricket but does anyone know the name for the tiny crickets that are dark brown to black? They chirp as well and live my lawn and against my house.

i saw them in the backyard the other day when i was in my garden.i love crickets and the sound they make its so relaxing at night to hear!

I often keep crickets in the summer, I love it when they sing. One thing I learned from this is that crickets are omnivores, not herbivores. I've seen them eat worms, pill bugs, and other crickets. They'll even take on tarantulas and geckos if there's enough of them!

I had to get rid of all my male crickets noisy fuckers, parents aint aloud to know i got a tarantula, but now the males have gone iv noticed the females making noises, like very quiet vibrations.
