I love the guy who says that he "pays an unemployment tax". That just shows how well informed people are about this issue. Employers pay unemployment tax, not employees. I also wonder whether any of these people know that what was turned down was money for unemployed part time workers, not unemployed full time workers? And whether that once the stimulus funds ran out, Virginia would be on the hook for still providing those benefits even after the recession is over? I'm guessing not.

Bob McDonnell voted NOT TO RAISE TAXES ON ANYONE. That way you can keep the money you make and not go through the trouble of filing for unemployment and filling out forms for welfare. Talk about common sense, thats the most logical thing to do. Just because Democrats are telling you he is working against you it's because the Dem's are trying to take your money. They will pocket half the taxes then divide the rest up for everyone else. We deserve a good man as gov. and that man is Bob McDonnell.

unemployment compensation is not meant to be your full salary, only enough to pay bills, though i agree it is not enough all the time, but if it were full salary everybody would quit and live off the government(which is being represented by most of the people in these ads)if you need full salary compensation then you are living beyond your means and that is what put the economy in the position it is in now, you should have saved instead of charging away.
