@mistymisty4 Paint is dusted onto the water, and I believe the paints are either natural plant based paints, or oil/acrylic based paints.
I have no idea about the paper, however.

@29catz do u know more about it? what kind of paper is that? it looks glossy and thick, like photographic, and what is the black water made of? And the paint, is it acrylic?

this is a turkish style of painting. the brush is made from rosewood and old horse's hair. if you ever see this type of paint, dont sniff it, it smells bad :s
