  • u got the skills, but id say find drills to do like toe drags, figure 8 and etc. Also use a puck too, not just a ball, and also just practice stickhandling wider, like side to side cuz that really helped me, but nice for ur first year tho

  • try walking around while stick handling

  • your good, but, with ball, thats all alot easier then it seems, practice with a puck, then you can use those skills better put to use on the rink

  • hey that is really good i am new at hockey to i have been playing for 5 months and im on i score alot i guess lol also what i go is take a smart ball and go on carpet nd practice because on carpet is is alot harder and then when you translate to ice or tile like you were doing it is alot easyer so yea i hope i get that good in like 4 months lol ok check out some of my videos and comment please!!!

  • wow that was pretty good...especially since it's only your first year playing. for the most part your form looks good; just keep practicing. i agree with coreysnyder that a smart ball is helpful. also you should try a flypuck. it's a plastic puck that slides on just about any surface without bouncing all over the place. it has the same feel as a regular puck too. keep up the good work

  • I see a lot of potential for a first year player. I noticed a lot of times your not even hitting the puck but rather just hitting the ground on the sides of it while it sits in the middle. This seems like a waste of energy and doesn't solve much. Also, I have been practicing with a "Smart Ball". Its a hard ball with the weight of a hockey puck. It is supposed to better simulate a puck. Its only like 9 bucks, you should buy one!

  • Not that bad, but try with a puck. Stickhandling with a ball doesnt translate all that well to a puck. Keep up the practice though

  • dude u beast 4 ur first year. yah dude just practice a lot and soon ull probabbly b on a travel team cause ive been playing 4 about 2 yrs and my coach told me he thought i should try out 4 travel league. but anyways keep up da good work
