This supermarket used to be primarily located in Maine (and some parts of New Hampshire).The chain was gradually became Hannaford over the last ten years.

I worked at broadway hannaford in bangor, people still call it "Dougs" to this day (my grandmother included)

I remember Shop n' Save alot when I was a kid, growning up in the 80's in Ossipee, NH. Not only did they have a grocery store, but, they also had Ames Department Store of which it was built in 1982 or 1983?

Anyhow, it became the Ames Shopping Center,but now, everything has changed eversince we've left NH in 1988. Man, I miss it!
