I like Vancouver, it is a fun place to visit. It is by the water and there is a lot to experience. I took this footage while I was there for an academic conference.

  • pepper spray on sale here HAHHAHA

  • Glad you caught that. I thought the dog and bear repellent part of the sign was funny too. Although I guess it isn't so funny if you actually need to repel a dog or bear.

  • @AnthroVlog I recognize that part of town (skid row); in THAT area, it's the vermin of the two-legged variety you have to worry about, haha...

  • @bluecollarcanuck Well don't let 'em bite!

  • It's in my top 10 places I want to visit. Lovely pictures/footage.

  • Thank you! If you end up going, let us know what you liked to do.

  • @nbwulf If you get to do so, by all means, visit the Lennox pub on the corner of Granville & Robson.

  • @olgakay Yeah, in the East End, no less....

  • @AnthroVlog Your only worry there is if you're out in the suburb of Surrey (otherwise known as Slurrey). You may need to repel crackheads as well as loose pitbulls in certain areas. (I'm only half kidding on that one, haha.)

  • Well vancouver has height limits to their downtown skyline. There are things called viewcones to protect the views of the mountains which results in the low leveled skyline. But things are quickly changing now. Many things have changed since you were here in 1999 especially when the 2010 olympics coming soon.
