The purpose of this movie is not to undermine black men like some of the comments suggest, It was made just for the opposite, because black men get so much bad rep about being fathers. Tyler wanted to turn the tables and shed light on the Fathers that do step up. You all are on here fighting,( black men and women) maybe thats why the statistics in the black home are as such. And the biggest thing, a single man with his finances in order has no time for a woman who already has unruly children, especially if they were born out of wedlock. The reality is that not all people are capable. And we as a culture in America need to showcase that. It is so sad when little children keep looking for this heroic dad or just a dad that can love them. And love them for love, not to avoid child support (if I get them on my good side--then they will want to live with me---). Showcase that not all people are are right in spirit and in the head. This way little children wont grow up trying to fufill a supernatural myth.
